Mukilteo

Mukilteo is a small city conveniently located just north of the I-5 / I-405 intersection which provides easy access for commuters to both the Eastside and Seattle. It sits just south of Everett and borders the Puget Sound. This waterfront community is approximately 25 miles north of Seattle and has scenic views of the Olympic Mountains to the west and the Northern Cascade Mountains to the north and east.

The Mukilteo School District, which is heavily supported by the community, provides eleven elementary schools; four middle schools and the primary high schools are Mariner and Kamiak.

There are a variety of recreational activities you can take part of in Mukilteo. You can enjoy a round of golf at Harbour Pointe Golf course, which offers breathtaking views of the Puget Sound, take a nice ferry ride to visit Whidbey Island or enjoy a bonfire on the beach, just to name a few.

Boeing, the world’s second largest aerospace and defense contractor, is a large part of the economy and is located just northeast of Mukilteo in Everett. It is also the world’s largest building by volume and employs many Mukilteo residents.

The city’s population has grown to over 20,000 and continues to grow because of its desirability. In 2013, the average sale price of a home in Mukilteo was $438,123. With a strong economy, great schools and amazing views, Mukilteo is a great place to call home.
